Paul Williams Jr. is true Atlanta. Growing up with Georgia Music Hall of Famer & Atlanta radio legend James “Alley Pat” Patrick as your grandfather, Williams has always valued music and the business mind it takes to be successful in the industry. Even after receiving his MBA from Clark Atlanta University and climbing the ladder of his successful family’s business, Paul never lost his love for the music.
In 2014, Williams would step out on faith and commit to his passion for music by forming La Familia Entertainment with his business partner to began leading the career for Rico Richie. Richie would bring Williams his first breakout single success with the DJ Drama Quality Street Music 2 banger, “Poppin”. A gritty trap cut that would go on to receive an A-list remix featuring Meek Mill, French Montana and Chris Brown.
Following the success of “Poppin”, Williams continues to be a major key in developing some of the most anticipated indie artist of the generation. His roster includes Gnik The God, Maui The King Jr, and most recently breakout star, Joe Gifted, the voice behind the hottest 2017 Summer record, “Water”, which peaked #23 on the Billboards R&B/HipHop Airplay charts.
Williams continues to grow and educate himself on the industry and looks forward to the legacy he will leave and the artist he will impact while living his mantra, “there are two types of people in this world...those that ‘need’ people & those who are ‘NEEDED’ by people, the billion dollar question is, which one are you?”
Paul currently now manages Def Jam Recording artist, Landstrip Chip.
