Founded in 2013 by CEO Pierre “P” Thomas and COO Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Quality Control Music nurtures such groundbreaking acts as Migos, Lil’ Yachty, Lil Baby, City Girls, Lil Marlo, Layton Greene and a host of upcoming Artist. Acting as managers, studio owners, digital strategists, licensing reps as well as label executives, Coach and P have created a new blueprint for success at a time when the fans have the biggest voice in the industry.
To help them build the QC Empire according to their blueprint they have assembled an Allstar Team that includes Tamika Howard and Simone Mitchell.
Tamika Howard serves as General Manager were her duties include but are not limited to coordinating business operations with Caroline, Motown, Capitol Records and QCM’s Professional Service Vendors, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, engaging with vendors and ensuring good customer service is extended, improving administration processes, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, monitoring financial activities and working with QC artist to help establish their own business entities.
Simone Mitchell is the Executive Business Development Officer/Artist Manager, she handles artist relations, which includes coordinating with different departments of Motown & Capitol Records in pursuit of the artists goals, she builds marketing strategies for the Label from social media to event coordinating; In which she creatively constructs all of QC’s events for album releases, birthdays, &, etc.
Both ladies play an integral role in ensuring the Artist careers and Label’s business relationships remain in good standing and continue to be cultivated. They both worked hard and made many sacrifices to get where they are today. They are proud to be the main leads of a team that has helped QC become the hottest urban label and global success.
