Kennard Garrett


Garrett is a GRAMMY® award winning record producer, composer, arranger, and musician of pop, R&B, hip-hop, reggae,xa0and children’s music. He has produced and received musician/arranger credit for numerous chart-topping compositions from the Pussy Cat Dolls, Jesse McCartney, Korean pop star BoA, multi-platinum R&Bxa0singer Case and most recently producing the #1 single “Don’t Make Me Wait” for international starsxa0Sting and Shaggy. In addition to his music career, he is a music education consultant and lecturer and serves as the Executive Director of the Ray Charles Performing Arts Center at Morehouse College. Garrett was elected in 2018 as a Governor to the Board of the Atlanta Chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and is a longtime member of the Producers and Engineers wing.
