Samira Kaelin


Managing her first Hip Hop band already at the age of 15, Samira’s passion for music developed further during her student days at the University of Zurich, when she joined Universal Music. Valuable industry insight led her to manage award-winning DJ Hands Solo with whom she then co-founded the Gushi Agency, promoting international Hip Hop DJs and events. Currently she is the international representative of Albanian Hip Hop icon Ledri Vula. Samira is also a member of the Executive Creative team of the biggest Hip Hop Festival in Europe, Open Air Frauenfeld, which this year headlined Travis Scott, Cardi B, G-Eazy and Future. Past artists include Drake, Eminem, Jay-Z, The Weekend, Nas, Kanye West and Atlanta's finest - Outkast, Migos, Usher, Gucci Mane and Playboi Carti.

Since 2017 Samira has become a valued consultant for MIDEM’s hip hop content, where she hosted the Premiere of Mass Appeal's Hip Hop documentary “Word is Bond” in Cannes, London and Amsterdam. This year she hosted two MIDEM panels: “ATLANTA: 30 YEARS & RUNNING AS THE HIP-HOP CAPITOL OF THE WORLD” with Amina Diop (Republic Records), Barry Johnson (Since the 80’s), Rico Brooks (Adella Thomas Management), Elliston Clarke «DJ GENIUS» (Mixtape Monopoly/ K Camp) and «CHARGE IT TO THE GAME» with Cortez Bryant (Maverick Management/ Blueprint Group/Young Money Entertainment - USA) and Matt Ferrigno (MTW Agency, former Maverick Management/ former Island Def Jam - USA).
