Dr. April Stallworth

April L. Stallworth, LPC, Ed.D, LSSBB, is currently the Vice President of Programs & Services with the Bobby Dodd Institute, located in Atlanta, GA. She is formerly the Director of Learning Programs for Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities where she helped to develop a multitude of learning programs and conferences around the state of GA. Dr. Stallworth has spent her entire career as a clinician and educator collecting a broad range of expertise including trauma, crisis, clinical education, leadership, workforce education, program management and private practice. She has held numerous leadership positions, that include Program Manager of Southside Medical Center’s Adult Mental Health Program, board member of Faith in the Family Institute in Ft. Washington, Maryland, Co-Chair of the Emory Autism Services Advisory Committee in Atlanta Georgia & Co-Chair of the Competency Based Training Committee for I/DD Re-Engineering Initiative also in Atlanta, GA. April has led numerous workshops across the country and enjoys highlighting the work and strengths of everyone who brings their skills to the field of Health & Human Services.
