BRANDON ‘JINX’ JENKINS is a cultural Swiss army knife. His work spans across several creative industries including editorial, production, and advertising. An experienced journalist, Jinx has covered a wide range of cultural pillars including hip hop, sports, fashion, social justice and art across print, digital, web video, podcasts and television.
Previously he's worked at Translation, Decon, Mass Appeal, and Complex.
Over his almost decade long career Jinx’s journalistic work has allowed him to sit and interview the likes of Kendrick Lamar, LeBron James, J.Cole, Virgil Abloh, Kobe Bryant, Jimmy Iovine, Donald Glover, Sza, Nas, Mariah Carey, Swizz Beatz, Billie Eilish, Big Sean, Senator Cory Booker, Migos and many more. In addition to music, his work has also led him to cover national events like the aftermath of the Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, as well as the 2016 Presidential Election.
Currently, he's the host of Mogul—a hip hop documentary podcast by Spotify and Gimlet Media, and you can see him on Revolt's State Of The Culture alongside Joe Budden, Remy Ma, and Ebony K Williams. And you can find him interviewing your favorite celebs who pull up to NY Knicks games on MSG Network’s “Conference Room C.”
He’s also a traveling DJ and amateur photographer.
